Wines of While 2024 Winner
It may seem strange that no wine bar has ever been named WA Good Food Guide’s Bar of the Year, given the currency wine bars hold in the current landscape. Then again, perhaps no example to date has been as deserving as Wines of While. When it opened, the snug 50-seater instantly shifted the needle with its radical, steadfast approach to all things unfined, unfiltered and ethically farmed. Five years on, the focus has only grown sharper – the cellar deeper, the service savvier, the produce-forward cooking more refined – culminating in an experience that’s as compelling as it’s ever been.
